I'm unsure of the year, was the more boxier look, so I'd say a 95 or so. It was red, 4 door, 5 spd. I pulled up next to him on the intersection of Ken Caryl/Chatfield. Light turned green, he jumped out in front by a few lengths, by the time we hit about 80 we were more or less side by side. I think up to 100 I'd have passed him!

Well most car mags say the 97 STS will run low/mid 14's stock. I have an airbox mod, K&N filter, and glasspacks. So perhaps mine is a few tenths faster than stock.

Yea, I think the earlier M3's had 240, or 260 stock. Nothing compared to now.

There are probably some bitchy M3 owners out there now. Several months ago, I was behind an older one ('95-'96) at a light with two of my friends in the car. Light turned, and he went for it. I stayed right on him, when there was room, I changed lanes, floored it and rolled past him. We waved out the sunroof as he motored by! He was PISSED!

The last body style did have 240hp stock. They may not be the fastest car, but damn they are nice. I would take one any day of the week. My car may be faster, but an M3 is a whole shit load nicer than a civic.;)

yeha i raced a modded 98'ish m3 a couple weeks agoa and I beat him by well over a full car lentgh to the top of third. I still wish I had one those cars are just too sweet!

Donny's (M3RACER) M3 ran a 14.9 at Bandi w/intake and exhaust and then with a 100 shot he ran a 13.9.
