I need to know if it is possible to put a six speed transmittion in a 1995 acura integra gsr, and if so how can i get one? I am also looking for type R headers if anyone can help. Thanks alot.

Put a K series in the engine bay. Otherwise its not going to be easy or worth the time. Besides, the 5 spd in the GS-R is pretty damn good.

Install a Type-R tranny for closer gear ratios. There are no 6-speed b-series transmissions on the "tuner" market. It's not entirely impossible to add a 6th gear to a b-series tranny, but there are far more simple, reliable, and economical solutions for most of the reasons that someone would want a 6-speed.

Yeah, like buying a car with a 6 speed in it for starters  And it's spelled transmission just so you know.

I was thinking about dropping a K20 in and then just using the RSX 6 spd but I'm not sure if its worth the effort or the money.

It'll be worth it if you get the 200 HP K20, but it will be a lot of money.

Let's see... swapping out a gutless engine for a more expensive gutless engine with a 6-speed... yeah, I'm not really seeing the point. If you put half that money into your current engine, you could really give it some balls.

I wouldn't exactly call a K20 gutless at this altitude weston, but I know where your priorities lie.

What about the Headers?

I know the first thing im going to do when I save up $6000 is dump it all on an engine that will put my car in the 15s.
