It's not worth even trying. Westminster used to be good place to cruise, then all the *&@#$#&@ kiddies in their moms civic who put on a fart can exhaust tip and a few stickers and subsequently think it's a race car RUINED it for everyone.

Longmont is a better destination, IMHO. And they have some real cars w/o the attitudes, too.

there is quite a bit of muscle cars down here. i don't bother cruising or racing anymore :)

I was in Westy Saturday night(complete boredom set it, and the bar scene is getting old fast so we had to find something to do). The rice was definately abundant, I even got to race a sweet Cavalier with a Super Duper Erector Set Fast & The Furious Spoiler!!!

What is it with Cavaliers out here? I saw one yesterday (white in color) with an unpainted white bodykit on it? So it sorta matched to the untrained eye, but if you look close you can tell it wasnt' painted. The car was like a glossy white while the kit was a flat dull white, man it was bad. Not to mention the car was complete with giant white vinyl on the rear windshield (plus www.<site>.com), glaring altezzas, and the erector set wing. It was embarrassing for me just driving near it...

Unfortunately I live like 2 blocks down the road from 88th and Wads. The westy loop is an everyday thing for me when driving to/from work. On Fridays I usually take a different route home, just so I can avoid the nonsense of that area, ugh...

Those pics were actually the first time I did that, before we riced our cars out and cruised Longmont, but it was basically the same deal. A friend of mine wrote "Turbo GT-R" in huge letters with blue painter's tape on the side of his Integra RS... some girl pulls up next to him and was like "that's not a turbo!". :rofl:

if you like to drag, not even worth it. its in downtown longmont where the speed limit is from 25mph to 35mph so you not gonna be going that fast. if you like to cruise and hang out, yea its a good place. i usually go there to check out peoples car and all, but its still a boring ass place. westminster was still the best cruising place and nothing came close to it yet.

you guys are forgetting that we atleast have a hangout place to go hang out. we are not in california or new york, but here in colorado so we have to deal with what we got. you guys can hate all the dumbfounded rice cars you guys want, but i rather have a community then not have one at all. would you rather be the only one out there with a hod rod car and no one gives a damn about it or you?

Technically they can't do shit unless there is a law/ordinance against it. I'd keep cruising and let him pull you over, get a ticket and then take his ass to court.

Why is it that you have such trouble with the Longmont Police Department, Brian? I've been pulled over so many times in the same kind of car, which until just recently was much louder, and I'm always doing something rather excessive (ie usually a misdemeanor), yet I get off almost every time. I've only had 1 ticket in Longmont in the last 5 years, and it was significantly less than what I actually did... I got caught giving a cop a ricer flyby and taking it up to 90 in a 45 zone... just 4-point careless driving, which was plea bargained down to a 2-point failure to signal. My last encounter with Longmont PD was for doing 90+ down Hover... the cop even called for backup with lights & siren... just a written warning for that. Not once has any cop ever threatened me with additional tickets or writing me a ticket if he sees me somewhere again.

I don't see how you manage to get yourself into these situations... I'm sure your level of rice, cruising Main all the time, and being 17, doesn't help, but is it really only that? Are you blasting "Fuck The Police" on the stereo as they walk up to your car or what? You seem to have this ability to automatically piss them off or something.
