That's to the coolant can go thru as well as support the sleeves. There are tons of different types. Looks nice Tobi, hope it goes well.

It's mine. It is the 2.2L S2000 block. Pretty sure they're Golden Eagle sleeves.

This is probably a retarded question but, since the block is an Fseries can an accord tranny bolt to the s2000 block making it front wheel drive?

9.5:1 pistons. But with the head and block shaved my math roughly shows 9.7:1

Its currently in an EP3. It made 350whp on 10 psi before the stock fuel pump gave up. More to come...

Update, the engine is done and installed. Still need to do some small things and fire it up this afternoon for some break-in. Enjoy....

Update: After about an hour of fighting with it trying to get the air out of the cooling system it now runs and is sounding good. Despite the low compression it still has good throttle response.
