Ok so here's the deal. I really want...I mean REALLY want a 02 YZF R6. I went looking just yesterday but couldn't get aproved because I don't have anything under my name. everything I own is under my parents name. I make more than enough each month to pay for the bike and insurance, on top of my monthly car payment and insurance for that. My parents already told me they wouldn't cosign for me on a bike. How can I get financed? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Have you tried those internet financing places where a bunch of people give you offers.
I got my first bit of credit from a Credit Union. With no co signers, and no credit i got 9% apr for $4000. After I crashed that about 5 months later and insurance paid that off I got have never had any problems with credit, but my insurance is insane now.
People, never sleep and drive at the same time....rolling a car at 80mph may seem fun, and it is, but its not good for insurance.

Start building credit now. Whatever is yours, put in your name. Unless it'll shove insurance rates thru the roof...

Exactly! It would have been better if you would have had your parents co sign on the cars, but that is the past now. Get a credit card, buy something fairly small, and make some payments. Don't just pay it off right away. They like to see a history of regular on time payments from you.

definetely get into a credit union. They will finance you a lot easier than just a regular bank or even one of those web places. When I was looking for a brand new civic, I went to some dealerships to see if I could get financed through them, and they kept saying no, even though I had ample credit as well as the means to pay it off, unless I had a huge downpayment. Went to the credit union and 15 minutes after walking in there I was walking out with signed documents for a loan, totally approved and everything, without any down payment. I think I pay 7% interest. That's how they make their money, off of the interest. I probably could have gotten the SI and they probably would have financed me for it, but I decided not to push my luck. I even had them finance in all the taxes. I picked up my car 2 days later (after dealer prep, etc.)

Yeah if you get a credit car all they care about is that you make at least the min. payment each month on time!
They could care less if you pay a little extra.

I financed all four my bikes through Bellco Credit Union. They are pretty good.
