Me vs. Pueblo motorsports Park... unsat track prep an conditions!

29 oct 05 pueblo motorsports park...
5 hours and two runs... track conditions and track crew prep could have been better.. i know i could pull a better 60ft. but crowd and tech problems at the track were kinda hindering.
the car deffinetly has a high 13 in it at this elevation but i was not waiting around for two more hours just for one run.

60ft: 2.05 sucks.. did better stock
8th: 8.994
1/4: 14.121 @95.38mph
mods: up/down pipe, ic hoses, bov, drop in filter, air horn in side of air box, cobb stage II ap 91oct.

no, he was spectatin... i was running close to sti times of one guy with a turbo back.. i know with the better 60ft i could have run with him.. there were only two tenths diff in our times... there were quite a few sti's out yesterday also.. scubasteve ran a 12.9 while i was there... he was shootin for a 12.5 he may have got it.. he was having unbeleivable wheel spin.. him an aaron both.. yeah i know pueblo isnt a great track but of the 10x i have been out there this was by far the worst prep an track care to date...

yeah walt had told me you were gona be working.. stock z's up here dont run all that well :( i have seen a few run low to mid 15's... you may be a bit disappointed especially down there at pmp!

yeah i really needed to get it out of my system this year.. an just for a piece of mind with the new mods i did this year... gettin ready to leave for iraq again in december. but when i get back we all need to go and walt needs to drive his Z!!

Yeah... I might be leaving in the mar-may time frame to somewhere over there. Be nice to come back and pay off some bills and buy some bolt ons. :D

i was pretty happy with the run considering all... bone stock when i took it down there i ran a 15.0.... with the light mods i have done i am content... just wish it werent so crowded.. i was waiting to be sent home because i dont have a helmet and ran under a 14.0 but it was just to damn crowded and the track crew were not on top of their game... i do give them props for handling what they came across but you would think so late in the season there wouldnt be any equipment problems like they were having. i heard through the grapevine that in the off season they are going to send everything off and get it a good once over and calibrated....well next time i will come with a helmet and am sure with my future plans for mods i will destroy a 14.0.. i am looking to hit a high 12 next time out... ;NutKick;

2005 STI with TBE only. I had no problems with track prep, or launching. Waiting 5 hours for only 2 runs sucked though.

The track management really sucked, I ran a best of 13.9 and smoked the tires through third. I'll never go to PMI again.

That run was against me:) . You won the race by like .01 total, and put like 5 car lengths on me out of the hole...AWD owns me.:cool: Nice r/t by the way.

SPOON92.. yeah i got in one more run before i left for the house.. on my first run i found out that i had overpowered my center diff.. only my right front tire spun.. real hard!! thats why i saw the smoke comin out of the side of my car!! ahahah!! my next run was like 3 flights back from the broken axle mustang... so i had a total of 2 runs.. on my second run i lined up in the left lane outside of the grooves.. got good bite on the launch but bogged i didnt rev it high enough my 60ft was a 2.05:(.... wasnt waitin round for 2 more hours for another shot at the 13's... i know its there but i will get it after iraq i guess...i left around 230... yeah the turbo colt HEMI :D was bad ass!! everyone was like wtf when you were smokin the slicks half way down the track!!! need to keep in touch with yall while i am down range so we can all hit up the track again when i get back.. i am seriously lookin into the18g... figure for round 900$ well a little more with injectors, larger top mount, fuel pump an street tuner software..... gona make it happen when i get back.. probably buy alot of the stuff while i am there... oh let me add a new clutch to that also.. i dont know if the stocker will hold 340+ crank hp... anyhow keep it touch it was a cool day from the people i got to meet.. not so much the racing...:cheers:

yeah i dont even have the time slip from the first one.. my buddy came over an slapped me in the head an took it from me :D talk about embarrassed.. i was so pissed after waitin all summer an pullin that crap out my ass.. i ran faster in my 02 rsx type s! i had problems in that right lane... when i staged it rolled backward after i stopped... when i staged and stopped again it rolled forward and redlit on me... i think my right front tire was in a dip.. thats why it broke traction so easy an overpowered my center diff... my second run was all bite.. but didnt rev high enough:( i was just happy to have gotten one half way decent run in.

spoon watched your vid here and on pirates! great runs and you are lucky they let you run in the groove on sat! they would not let me on sun it sucked! my best 60' was a 2.1xx tire spin through all of first! but i was able to get in seven runs so i had fun.
