I know from first hand experience how much of a bump in torque you got lol. Your car just shoots ahead from when you had the mods w/out the bigger turbo or sneaky mbc... Nice numbers bud, your getting close to your goal!

Hung... we should race.
I should be making about the same power as you on my pump gas tune.
Why did you choose that turbo over the fpgreen?
Fp green is about the same price but flows a littlebit more.

I'm going to plan on getting there in the morning... Brian said that they were checking for club membership today, which is the first time I've ever heard of them doing that. But I think I know a way around that for people who aren't members... details in this thread (http://www.highaltitudeimports.com/showthread.php?p=460212)

Whyyyyyyyy?
Those are some nice numbers there Hung!
I want the PE1825 myself. mmmmm.....TwinScroll :splooge:
They just came out with a clutch kit for the LGT. FINALLY! Although... 900$ ouchy!

Why won't a clutch kit from a 2.5 RS or STi work?
JL LGT
11-04-2005, 09:25 PM
It will, but I don't know the specifics. It's not a direct bolt on episode.
If you were to drive my car.... you'd become SERIOUSLY annoyed by the clutch engagement. It's REALLY hard to launch this car!

Got tuned today at Mac by Jon from TDC Tuning in New Hampshire.
Here's my comparison. The only difference is Protuning, no more MBC, added FMIC and GM boost solenoid
http://home.comcast.net/~b18cbungy/dynocomparison-tuned.gif
There was a Legacy GT that he tuned to 270whp/322wtq. Impressive!

Cool... What octane?
STIBungy
01-21-2006, 08:16 AM
Just 100. I believe Bandi has 104 and there's another station that has 105 unleaded. I'll just tune on 100 to be safe if I ever throw in 104 or 105. :D

Well I did manage to break 400wtq today on race gas. The gas was fucken shitty though. The car knocked like a mofo and pulled timing like crazy. I think I got a bad batch of gas. It made less power on race gas than it did on 91 octane. Drove Dave around for a bit and filled up with 93 and the car ran really good. I didnt get any dyno time after putting 93 in, though.
Oh yeah, it was overpriced too. $5.99/gal. I'm not going there again.
Oh check this out. 05 STI w/ just a turboback made 400wtq on 93 octance. Is that insane or what? I believe he made about 320whp. Kinda puts my mods to shame but overall, my torque and hp is better throughout the rpm band. His torque peaked at about 4krpm and then dropped steeply.

Nice numbers Hung, I can't wait to run you again next year should be fun. I just dynoed at Car Z Performance this weekend, Super Flow Dyno which supposedly reads like a Dyno Dynamics, at hit 405 AWHP 376 AWTQ on 91 and w/s juice in my alky kit. I will be going to MAC soon to see what it does.

What did they change engine wise in the 05's?

Nick from Mac said the only change is that the turbo is a little bigger on the 05 because the 04 turbos had cracking problems. Mainly around the wastegate hole.

Aaron, that was the Sinclair station off Belleview and I-25. I think the gas has been sitting there for a long time and I happen to get the watered down part of it. The guy that got gas after me didnt have any problems.
