wilwoods waste of money!! don't get those just front conversion won't do a daym thing, talked to a guy in cali did that on his crx he said it sucked, he picks integra breaks any day, same here
so if you gotta a civic/crx go integra with some ebc green pads and their dimpled rotors or even just power stop rotors with some stainless steel lines, way cheaper and you got better breaks on all four corners
my crx right now is running 91 integra 4 wheel disc all the way around i love it, AND didn't even change the m/c or p/v out yet i got those just sitting around waiting for spring break!
all you si owners leave your brakes alone, just get pads, rotors, lines and take two aspirin and you'll feel better, you gotta think wear and tear, what happens when those wilwood rotors wear out or you gotta replace the pads, at least with integra parts you can go to checkers and get some stock $hiT for awhile RIGHT!
just trying to help everyone save money and drop my opinion from what i've known and other people know payce out!

Yeah that was my orignal plan is to go with powerslot rotors all around with stainless lines and some new pads. All for less than $400.
Wouldn't there be clerance problems with the fastbreak setup? My 15's wont clear with the AEM's.

I know for sure they won't clear 94-95 GSR wheels. on the site they have a pic of a crx with Rota circuit 8's. maybe the slipstreams would clear? I'm probably gonna do the rear kit too, SS brake lines, and a bigger master cylinder

i think the wilwood calipers will use norml civic pads. if not, they sell EBC green stuff, and red stuff for them
jeffro
03-14-2002, 09:46 AM
naw wilwoods u gotta use some special pad cuz you're getting special calipers, i called the guys at wilwood long time ago to check up on all this and to ask if they got a rear kit in the works which he says no so that's what made me change my mind also

all you 92+ guys make sure you change out your proportioning valves to integra or civic si (ted you're straight) check your master cylinders too, especially with the fastbrakes you want to run a 15/16 master cylinder those are found on integras i'm not sure about si's and it should work with an si brake booster
88-91 owners use 90-91 integra knuckles and trailing arm and all the necessary integra hardware just bolts up, hell you can use 91 crx si discs in the rear w trailing arm same size ( hard to find) hell you can be a super hero and use 91 civic ex stuff up front ahhhh choices, personally i want to get type r stuff cuz 5 lug is tight
then get a 91 integra proportioning valve dont run the 91 si's if you don't have to, then several choices on m/c, can use 15/16 from 90-91 integra but must change the brake booster (pain in the a$$), i'm changing my dx to a 91 si m/c which is 7/8 which is slightly smaller than the integra but bigger than the dx and it just bolts right up to my dx's brake booster
