it will, but the vtec change over point is really low for a b16. my friend has a p72, and i had to borrow it for a while for my b16, and i believe its change over point is like 4600, or 4800. id go w/a chipped p28, or i had a p61, think it was out of a b17 gsr motor, and it worked pretty decent.

it will work fine. VTEC will be sooner with the GSR ECU (4400) as opposed to the B16's 5500.

4400, i knew it was down there. downside to a chipped ecu, just dont run spray, or boost on it as it will advance your timing.

I would go with a P28 also. You might also consider buying a "virgin" P28 and then have it chipped with the chip of your choice and tuned according to your specific mods.
