im almost done with the b16 swap and noticed that i still have a map sensor plug thats not being used. does the jdm motor need the map sensor. i dont see a spot on the manifold for it. any help you could give would be apreciated. thanks

Yes you need the MAP sensor and it is on the TB.

there is no spot to mount one on the TB. thats why im kinda lost on this one

JDM throttle bodies have just a nipple on it. You'll have to connect a hose and mount the map sensor somewhere nearby. I believe stock has a bracket along the firewall.

is there any paticular year of MAP that i need to get?? cause i believe the newer ones mount on top of the TB. which year didi they mount on the firewall? thanks\

88-91 mounted on the firewall.

Doesn't the OBD1 TB have the MAP on the bottom? I thought that it did because people who do wire tucks like those.
