hey if any of you drive that gst spyder mad props, it's not very often i get a good highway battle like that, i think was last thursday

we were even till i hit my fockin speed limiter at 115 then shoooooom...... there you go, i said daaaaaaym, then i cursed at my ecu

that sucks. I hate limiters, my cars limit is 138mph :(

What motor do you have? Mine kicks in at 125mph, but that will be easily removed after I install a vtec controller or another ecu :)

mine is theoretically governed at 158, although I'm too scared to try that on my ghetto tires. :cop:

Do you have traction control in your cars? I did, and the speed limiter (155 mph) lived in a seperate ECU, the Traction Control ECU. By either disabling traction control (pulling a fuse) or completely removing the trac ECU eliminated the speed limiter.

i guess mine is 116 for a limiter, prolly wont go much higher than that either, damn pussy motor :(

Mine hits HARD at 112, damn JDM ecu... It pulls like a mad man in all gears till I hit 112 that is. That will be gone once I get the hondata though. :)

b16a with pr3 ecu...waiting on the hondata stage 3b, someone let me know if you got the hookup on those cuz i'm just about to buy from hondata direct, hey i outbraked him though HEEHAW 60-0 in 1 second j/k, integra brakes on a crx are real nice

When I put a reprogrammed PCM in my car, it didn't eliminate the speed limiter, but it did move it from 126 to 255.

I dunno about you, but I highly doubt I'll be doing 255 on I-25 anytime soon. :D

I have the PW0 ecu in mine, also thinking of getting a Hondata. I have integra brakes on my car as well with EBC greens and EBC slotted/dimpled rotors, man those brakes kick ass!

Another reason to love a 1st gen DSM,horsepower and body design are it's limiting factors. I've heard of some high power DSMs running over 170,I personally have had mine in the 150mph range and that was fast enough.

no pics, but ted you see my car at work all the time, remember the beatered out crx with the c/f hood?

just a stock b16a w intake, my exhaust is something to laugh at because it's older than i am, got more holes in it than swiss cheese!!!

probably repainting the car again on fort carson this summer to honda s2000 suzuka blue, but not sure cuz i gotta take care of the wife and kid first

let me restate that question in response to the uh what? can anyone get hondata $#it cheaper than what they advertise for?

oh shit I didn't even know this was you...When did you swap in the b16? Anyways I wont be seeing much of Fleet anymore...

oh yeah the wife and kids are more important than a car,get them straight first then paint the rex ;)

we can get Hondats for cheper than on the hondata site. If more people. If we can get like 4 people interested in one we can get an even bettter deal.......

I don't have speedlimiters right now. my celica currently is drag limited to 140(top of 5th) and won't pull in 6th. the bird...well it doesn't even have a computer so...

my focus hit really hard onthe limiter...108mph is all you could goto, and I would have had to spend around 600 dollars for a reprogramed chip, because it would have had to be custom not messing with the ignition and fuel curves due to the turbo I had on it. what can i say...it was a ford

btw ted did the swap back a couple years ago almost 2.5 years now, had dr charles madrid do it cuz he was too high on weed all the time so he kept forgetting, ahhh the good ol days dr madrid, pit crew, then atomic now he's sitting on 300,000 smokin a bowl every day:M:
