The dyno at PFI/Powerhouse can let you know. come check it out or call them.

phone# 970-377-8743

10 or more cars = 500.00 per day

baseline = 50.00

Do they have a wideband? And how many pulls defines a baseline?

Wait a second - you work at a dyno shop and you are asking why people want a wideband O2 sensor?

I do believe my opinion of PFI/Powerhouse just went down a few notches...

Scarey. Really it is.

most peeps define a baseling as 2 to 3 consistant dyno numbers...

pull #1 - 500 hp
pull #2 - 503 hp

thats enuf

pull #1 - 500 hp
pull #2 - 525 hp
pull #3 - 526 hp

thats eunf

No - I've not dynoed the car yet. I've had ignition gremlins bothering me since the rebuild (actually since before the rebuild). I had swapped coils with IntenseSupra before grenading the motor, and found that once I put mine back in the problem went away.

It's been there on and off for a while now - it just shows up with more intensity in cold air.

And since there's been no dyno time, the car is still 100% untuned (read: probably running pig rich). I'm guessing that there's a few HP hidden in there once some A/F tuning is done.

I probably should do a few pulls and scan the dyno charts - good selling tools. :)

The trap/ET from last yr indicated about 535 hp to the wheels at 26psi. With 6 more psi (and some A/F tuning) I'd expect 600-625 to the wheels. Maybe.

you have got to be pushing more than that...I usually get in the 110-113 trap range (before exhaust and computer upgrade) and dynoed...

505.4/461.3
508.4/459.1

granted I am not very skilled in driving my T/A so that may play a major part in the equation... :(

weight could play into it too

*doh*

Quickest ET/Trap: 11.4 @ 123
Fastest ET/Trap: 11.9 @ 126

I used the quick-n-dirty calculator at:
http://www.dsm.org/tools/calchp.htm

My car weighed in at 3680 with me in it.

For the 11.9 @ 126:
Using the ET method, I come up with 432 horsepower
Using the Speed method, I come up with 575 horsepower

For the 11.4 @ 123:

Using the ET method, I come up with 491 horsepower
Using the Speed method, I come up with 534 horsepower

FWIW.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

Try correcting your et for sea level then entering the number. Mine was a lot closer that way.

I got 236whp with my best time on my old turbo. Still enough to beat a C5 by a few tenths. Thank you AWD.;)

No - I was unable to hack up the interior to do so. The car is way too nice to do that to. :)
