I won this block http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=8002811494&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT
Servion said this about it
"Damn, a completely WELDED block; that's pretty crazy. You'll have to make SURE that the collant passages are drilled just like stock. I bet $$$ that thing will need an overbore and a deck because welding a block like that will most liekyle distort it. Be very careful with that, and make SURE that you have a competent machinist check every single clearance on it."
Now if you look at the block is this something that you can do? Or know of a great shop to take it to? I bought it cause a GSR block alone usually costs more than that. I hope I still got a good deal with it what is your opinion on it?

Tobi I read this I am unsure about this block now. Can you re-sleeve a block? That way I wouldn't go thru all the crap. I found this about it, http://www.team-integra.net/sections/articles/showArticle.asp?ArticleID=20

It probably wasnt welded, that usually destroys blocks. It probably has what is known as "block fill" in it. It is a liquid metal resin that is poured into the water jackets to fill them and reinforce the cylinder. It is usually done to drag race only blocks that run alcohol. Since it doesnt burn very hot. If it has been filled good luck drilling new water jackets. I can take a look at it if you bring it by the shop. Some sleeves can be replaced and some cant. Depends on who did it.
