Ok, the more the more info the more problems that you ppl say may be the issue. So now I think that a swap will be the best thing. But what should i put in, and how much will it cost? I haev a 94 honda civic 2d coupe dx. I want an engine better then the DX engine. It can be from an older year(88 si) Just as long as i do not need to do to much work, I want to keep it under $1k, so any ideas out there?

Drop in a B-series or just boost your D-series.

What about turbocharging or super charging a cx motor. They are light, but you need to do a lot to them to make them par with a vtec

not even worth it to boost a CX motor. with 5 or 6 lbs, you would be lucky to make 80whp. Get a D16Z6 and boost it or go b series.

I don't think we have this law in CO, that's like CA or something.

How much would it cost me to use a turbo setup from a Mitsu Eclipse GTX, I heard that you can do it that way, What about supercharging from a Ford mustang or somthing like that? What engine do i have now? I do not know that much about working on hondas but if some one has plans that are acurate I can do them my self!
