Unless I misunderstood, it sounds like they are only shutting it down temporarily. They would be stupid to tear down such a nice track.. I just don't see it happening to be honest.

It's been in the works for a few years now. The owners have changed several times and that's why some of the needed fixes haven't been made. If they had been made we'd still have a track. We should buy it up and open our own tracks. 1200 acres is a lot of land. Who needs grand stands?!!!

yeah but that track helped defeat the penski track in aurora, they wanted to build a
nascar track,road course and a drag strip, but them and bandi helped sue them if thewy tried it, instead they went to kansas, and they are cleaning up,,,, it helped the economy so much there, and just gave us one more place for scca
