MSD 6AL Help

I bought an MSD 6AL and I need some help with the install.

There is a magnetic pickup.. what do I do with this thing?

I know I need to cut the two wires to tell it it's a 4 cyl, but what else needs to be done? Fairly urgent, I need to install this before Weds. for T&T. Thanks.

Hmmm just found the install diagram for a Honda... looks pretty simple.

Ok, so now I'm being told I have to do a little soldering inside of the fucking coil. Is this true? Can anyone help me find a install walk-through for this thing? >_<
