We have a member in the springs running a 2b. I don't think there's a 4b to tune it with in the state though.

I will be buying a Hondata 4b this season after the build. That has kinda depleted the funds for now. But I hope to have it before the end of the season so I can boost a lot! I don't think I will go over about 12 on the stock ecu, I don't want to risk screwing up the new motor.

I think Steve is getting a 4b here pretty soon. I plan on a 2b in the coming months...

We should be able to help you out. We've already got a few maps for them, so it shouldn't be a problem.... MUCH easier to tune a hondata then an AEM. :drink:

Would you be able to get the 2b at a competitive price too. I want to support my local shops.:)

My car is obd1. I'm trying to buy the p28 ecu and selling off my p72 so I can raise the money to buy the 2b. Right now I'm looking for the 2b only until I have money to buy the 440 injectors. Thanks for checking on that for me.

Cool, so you don't need the wiring harness or anything. That will cut the cost a lot. The harness alone is about 150 or 200. I'll get the price for the ecu itself for you then :)

Could you check on the 4b for my car? I have a PW0 Ecu right now. So it is an OBD, not obd1. Thanks! I think all I need is the ecu, it uses all the factory sensors, right?

I have a stage 2b in my car. i haven't tried tuning it since i don't have a 4b. right now i'm running a map that the guy i bought it off made. so far so good. there's a lot of maps out there already ad a lot of people have hondata's so you can always find other maps or people to help you with it.

not really giving up on it. I think I just want at hondata right now, plus I am going to use some of the money I get from it to get my car re-painted

I think the Satge 4 Hondata will blow away the other setup I was thining of.
Again any place with a wideband o2 sensor?

a Standalone blows away any of the other pre-programmed ecu's out there hands down. There is no replacement for being able to make adjustments as needed.

Hey all, I'm looking to buy a 2b as well sometime. I am in the process of trying to find a decent priced OBD I p28 though, since I have an OBDII car.
99SIVTEC, you mentioned you can get Hondata ecu's? I'd be interested in what you can get them for, as well as the conversion harness.
BTW, I'm new here, kinda nice to have a board with locals

Welcome to HAI !!!
I'm putting together some pricing for everyone on the hondata's. I think we may be able to get a better deal since 4 or 5 of us are interested....

Will the Hondata run dsm 450's in my car?? I thought maybe I could save some money by getting some of these for cheap. Any one else know if they fit or if I will have issues?

yeah I am pretty sure they will fit. You will just need resistor packs for them......

What's up HAI! I am new to the boards, but I just installed my 4b into my Vortech Si! All I have to say is this is such a bad ass set up, hands down. I just installed so I haven't dynoed or tune yet, that fun is about to begin. So when I get everything figured out I will let you guys know. Also I was wondering the responce we will be having April 13 at bandimere? I have heard it can be very busy?

I personally skip the first couple of TTs since they are sooooo crowded and don't want to pay $25 to run only a handful of times.
