Hey, it's Tom and Tammy and we're new to the site.

Our friend Mr. HondaPower told us to check this place out and maybe someone could help us. We actually stopped by after our radiator failed and hoped to find a replacement.

We drive a 97 Prelude and a 02 Accord, which both are pretty much stock right now.

Browsing around, I found that there are good deals on car parts and a lot of people who are willing to give helpful advice and I think it's great. I hope you guys at HAI can help us in the same way.

I've got a 94' lude with trany problems and trying to decide if I wanna rebuild it or just buy a new one. Like to know or see if there is somone out there that can help a guy with tips who isn't mech. inclined. Also, how easy it is to do an engine rebuild and turbo on an F22 with a short throw?
4th is shot and 3rd won't stay in, 5th is grindy. I had a kevlar stage 2 clutch put in about 3 1/2 years ago, new intake and cold air. Not much else was done to her.

search the for sale forum for a used F tranny. It will cost you more to rebuild yours than buying a used one from somebody here, or on CL. As far as turbo and such, it depends on what you want and how much you have to spend. There are several shops, TC Performance, Speed Image, ect. and many back yard tuners. Hey i joined after i went to the may meet at redrocks, my name is reed, i frequent v6p.net, and everything-honda.com. Just thought i would join since there was such an amazing turn out for a colorado meet.

i drive an 02 Ex accord Turbo F23,
plans are to lower it, put 18'' gunmetall 5 spokes with a polished lip, and a Wings west lipkit, and redo my catback with 3 inch and high flow cat, as some of you might have noticed i have a cutout and was running an open dump the day of the meet, also i will be fixing my front bumper and putting a type R cleared out upper grill in and then respraying it all, and possible a CF hood.

Thats actually pretty sweet. Most of those 4 door Accords that are "modded" consist of altezzas, removal of the hubcaps, of couse a ebay exhaust and intake, and then a walmart wing.

For sure but when you see something like a neon or like Civic with some Daytons....it just doesnt fit. But yeah I came from Southern Cali as well and you def. see alot more of that out there. Not that I am any position to talk though with my ghetto wheels that are on the sled right now.

Now that I know a little bit about what's going on here...I'm not one of "THEM", per se. I like anything motorsports related, whether it be road racing, drag racing, drifting, autocross, rally, off roading, whatever else. I recognize that there's a fair amount of skill that goes into any of these fields, and there are both ignorant and intelligent people in all of them. I also have a lot of respect for Honda tuners, although I have never owned one, and probably never will, as I don't care for FWD. One more thing...obviously I like 944s, and I like road racing, but I don't think 944 spec is the greatest thing in the world. I chose 944 because road racing is what I like most, and that class appeared to be the cheapest and most fun way for me to break into it.
