So linux guru's now that I have jumped ship and joined the linux community, where can i get some cool things for my new os? Programs, themes, info, ect?

www.opera.com (browser)
www.webmin.com (EASY web gui for config of just about everything)
www.apache.org (HTML server)
www.aol.com (instant messenger)
www.icq.com (ICQ messenger)
everybuddy - kicks AOL IMs backside
xmms - X windows mp3 player ala winamp
opera - YES! tab-based browsing
star office - just say NO to M$ Office
mozilla - code base is used for netscape 6, but MUCH faster than netscape6
quake3
unreal tournament
jpilot - palm pilot desktop/sync tool
etc etc etc
I use KDE as my desktop, FWIW.
Good for you - soon you will be running your universe on linux... :)

www.ximian.org - Gnome desktop software, sweet
www.linuxdoc.org - Help docs
www.lwn.net - Linux news
www.themes.org - Used to have tons of themes before they switched to the lame new site
www.securityfocus.com - Security site, place to sign up for bugtraq and other lists, if you want
www.slashdot.org - "News for Nerds" :)
If you want you can checkout my desktop screenshots. I don't know about you, but I like checking out other ppl's setups, sometimes you can get good ideas on how to setup your own stuff :)

Has nothing to do with my mcse dude. Just installed linux on a spare computer to screw around with......
