Ok so there was this huge mix up.

I get pulled over a couple days ago and the officer said my license was restrained. So he kept it and told me that unpaid tickets could cause this. I recieved a ticket a couple months ago in Douglas County... so I drove to Castle Rock and sure enough they didn't recieve my payment for the ticket. I got that all cleared up.

Now what do I do? He gave me a summons to court on November 4th... he said that if the previous ticket is cleared up then this summons is pretty much null. The lady in Castle Rock said I can go to the driver license office to see if my license has been cancelled or not (huh?).

So questions:

Do I bother going to the Arapahoe Driver License office... the colorado website is the most fucking useless thing in the world. Will they be able to help me?

Man if anyone has any phone numbers that will get me talking to people that'd be great. I wasted 45 minutes on my cell phone fucking around with automated machines getting me nowhere.

Just go down to the nearest DL office and they should give you a new license

I don't even know where the nearest driver license office is... the addresses are all wrong on the CO Revenue website. :\

there's a DMV off of Parker Rd going south from Arapahoe a couple of miles. That one i know of.

Simplest thing, (which is what i did) was get the DMV phone numbers from qwest dex and just call the offices and ask them their address.

The site I was on also listed the addresses right in regards to CO DMV locations, but I looked at that quite a long time ago.

this site has accurate addresses for dmv's in my county and surrounding counties...

http://www.revenue.state.co.us/MV_dir/wrap.asp?incl=dlolist

but as for re-instatements, seems like the local DMV's don't do it, only:

The main office location of the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles is

M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
1881 Pierce St.
Lakewood, CO 80214
(303) 205-5600...
