Ok I looked it up and really didn't find a definition on a "Cut jersey" but I did find a store that has them and I looked at them. The cut as I see it is how the collar and sleeves are made. "V" neck vs. a rounder neck. So a classic cut was the rounder way. That is what I saw and got from looking. I did a basic search on MSN under "cut jersey" so if you want that is what I did! Hope that helps!!
