i'm considering trying to swap a sr20det into my 94 altima. any opinions?

Which motor does the altima have in it? A KA24? I would think this would be similar to a 240, minus the rear drive that is.

Yep, its the same motor for the 200 sx se-r. I may be attempting a swap into my 240sx this spring if I cant find anyone who can do it or not.

My friend has an altima and is looking to do the swap, I found the motor for $1000.00 through Nippon-motors.com.

I plan on doing the swap into my fiancee's Infiniti G20 within the next couple years.

I'd definately do the swap. You can basically bolt on a T28 once you've done the swap, and you've got a seriously fun car on your hands. :)
