whatup, im new on this forum, and ive never really used a forum before, but thats okay. So heres my story. I have a 97 civic ex, that ive had for like 2 years, i was gunna start tuning it but I got into an accident, finally after like 6 months of driving around with a busted fender and a bumper hanging off I got it all fixed and painted the whole car. So it looked good for like 2 weeks before I drove the passenger side into a rock ;NutKick; . I messed up the door, fender, and rear 1/4 pannel. before I wrecked it again: I bought new aem pullies, fuel rail, injectors, turbo manifold for a d series, coils, intake, vafc, short throw shifter, fuel pump, ssome other crap, and i was looking to turbo. but now i wanna fix my exterior again before i turbo it. So ill be in the classified section looking to sell some laptops, and other computer related stuff, I have lying around to make some extra money. Also Ill be asken questions because I dont know a whole lot aout this car biz. And if anyone has an extra passenger door for a 96-00 civic coupe let me know im looking for a new one.

I was wondering about that. Just to be honest with yourself, if you can't keep a stock car in tact for very long; why would you want to spend a bunch of money making it faster?

Hey, welcome to the forum. It can be very useful/helpful at times, and at others, completely useless but still entertaining. :D

Here is what I would do if I were you. Figure out what the causes of these accidents were... My guess would be 1. Driver error, 2. Poor brakes, 3. Poor tires. Before making it go faster, make it a SAFE, reliable car that you can trust at any given time. Once you've done that, slowly learn the limits of the car, so you can actually control it.

Now, smart thing to do would be getting some decent insurance coverage on it. Shop around and see what's available at how much, and work it into your budget. There are too many idiots like "Why do i try" out on the same roads you and I are on.

Anyway, have you made a list of the parts you need? If so, post it here, if you haven't already.

thanks for all the welcomes. and thank you for your advice it is something that I will really think about.

As for parts what I am looking for is from a 2dr 96-00 civic: passenger door, and passenger side fender. So if anyones got extra parts I got money.
