I was looking at their website and thought it looked pretty cool. $35 for 10 laps sounds pretty steep though. Is it worth checking out even once?

it doesnt sound too bad. how fast are they?
try IMI racing out in erie. that where me and my dad raced our cart. they had some decently fast rentals, and they boast that they are the fastest ones in the state. i think its like 30bucks for 10 laps, so not much better, but maybe faster.

50mph gets old pretty fast. plus, with only 6.5hp, it will take you a decent amount of time to get up to that fast of a speed. i doubt you will hit that on the bandimere track. me and my dad run a 125cc 26hp two stroke, and it will hit about 90 on a good day tuned right with the right gearing. thats when it gets scary, although as soon as you brake, you just want to go right back to the front of the straight and do it over again, and again.
who knows. maybe when i get back to co ill have a track day, and some people can come out and run in my cart.

i went there last year with my friend kathie and joey. it's 35 bucks for 10 laps, they put you in a race suit, gloves, head sock and helmet. the carts that go upwards of 50mph are the shifter carts i think. The track temp was about 70 outside, and they said the way the carts are set up, you should be able to hit 39 mph or so, but i was only able to hit a little over 33mph. Your stuck with the regular cart, unless you can get a faster time then they specified, which was like 55 seconds or something, if you meet the time requirement, then you can upgrade to the faster carts.
35 bucks for 10 laps is steep, but they have some buy 1 run, get another run for your friend for free. look or ask around, i'm sure someone might have a couple they can spare

I was looking on the action karts website.
$70 per 10 lap session for the 125cc Leopard motor go-karts (speeds up to 70 mph)
**You must drive a 6.5 hp Honda before renting a Leopard motor to prove speed and control
70 freakin bones to run the 125 carts for ten minutes. Fuck that, $70 is a decent night a the titty bar.
I'll have to check out the one in Erie.
