For those of you who are familiar with the 5th Gen (90-93) AllTrac... you'll know that Toyota made 81 of them in the US in 1993... so this car was an extremely rare find, especially considering the car's immaculate condition. As of today, she has 191,6xx miles on her. I picked her up this afternoon.

Nice find! What are the plans? There is a guy in FoCo with a white 92 that has the JDM motor. It's a nice ride.

Heh, this isn't the GT-Four. It's just an AllTrac. If you want to think of the difference between the AT and the GT4, think about the difference between the WRX and the STi... it's kinda like that. The GT4 has better brakes, beefier drivetrain parts, and the power delivery is quite a bit better.
With 191,6xx on the clock, and a bunch of stuff I'm going to have to fix, I got out the door, even with taxes, for under 7k.

Yeah, I think his name is Shawn.
Because the transmission in my car is on it's last leg, I'm thinking about actually getting an entire JDM front clip and transmission for a couple grand, and throwing that in. Plans aren't real extensive at this point, just essentially BPU stuff. The stock boost gauge is a total piece of shit, so I'm replacing that immediately. The steel CT26, as mentioned in another thread, is t3h suck: it has horrible response and hits a brick wall around 5500rpm. The entire exhaust (minus the manifold until the turbo is replaced) will be upgraded to a 3" stainless steel catless system. I'm still undecided on the muffler.
Nothing too extensive... yet. ;)

Hell, I live on 80 acres... I could go rally cross in my front yard.
I did that last year when I had a Corolla S as a rental car when my Celica's engine was being rebuilt. Mom was kinda mad I tore up the pasture. :D

Hehe, well, that's easier said than done. The previous owner accidentally locked his keys in his car, and had to have the car slim-jimmed. During that process, the locksmith guy busted the locking mechanism on the passenger side door, so the door is now permanently locked until I get it fixed or replaced. Still trying to figure out how I'm gonna get that door panel off with the door closed. There's still a few issues with the motor I've gotta get worked out, too. The valve cover is leaking oil, and there's an exhaust leak coming from the front. All the more incentive to get 3" catless put on. :)

I was wondering when you'd chime in. It'll be a couple months before she's in decent enough shape to run a competitive event, but when she is... have you ever autocrossed an AllTrac? ;)

When I bought my jeep, the driver door was like that. It sucked. I finally got the locking mechanism out and I had to tie my door shut until I could get to the junkyard to get a new one. O well, it beat having to climb over the passenger seat everytime.

I just popped the door panel off and then looked inside the door and I could see where the mechanism broke. Then, I just reached inside and pushed the broken piece up and it popped the door open. My door panel was easy to come off tho. Its not like my integra where the side of the dash covered up some of the door panel.

Very nice man!! I used to have an MR2 turbo, kind of miss the old 3S-GTE... had a little work done to it hehehe, when I switched out the CT26 for a CT20b it felt like a whole new car!! Although, unfortunately the motor gave out not long after that... it was an old motor, but I damn sure got my moneys worth out of it! Have fun with your new car man, very rare indeed!!

Yeah, the door panel on the AllTrac is fairly similar to the Integra where the dash covers part of it. Also, at the back of the door, there's two screws that face the door striker; so the panel ain't coming off unless I open the door or break the damn thing. I'd actually consider destroying the panel... but I have the "System 10" in my car, and no other 90-93 Celica model except the AT had that... so getting a replacement door panel wouldn't be easy.

Yeah, the CT20B, from what I've read, is an amazing turbo - and it bolts up to the stock manifold. :) But I have a sneaky hunch once I fix the exhaust leak and get the 3" catless exhaust on, even with the shitty CT26, it's going to feel like a whole 'nother animal. :D
