I would like to start a racer bios area in the articles section. Basically I need to ahve everyone that was on last years clubclash team to submit one. Even if you only did one race you were still part of the team.

Just give some background on yourself, how you got into racing, talk about your car, ect. Include a few pictures. Don't worry too much about picture sizes or formatting. I will take car of all of that.

You can post them here or e-mail them to me. Whichever you would like.

OK,I take that back except for the HS girls. hehe;)

I've seen mention of the club on a different website, some 5280 Ford Focus group said you guys were mean :rofl:

yeah it was some Focus forum I read a few weeks ago, mentioned something about you guys at the Club Clash, wasn't all that friendly :)

I wonder if it was that guy with the yellow focus. I raced his girlfriend then afterwards he's all what happened I thought you would be faster than that. I was like "dude, I beat her by over 4 seconds"

yeah that would be the post, it wasn't exactly mean but I thought "Last year I felt really alienated by HAI" sounded pretty funny!

In other words you guys owned the race track and they were bitter about it :cool:

oh and you guys are cool as hell. Every other car fan site I've been to everyone just bitches and talks about how much faster their car is than everyone elses. Constant Honda vs. the world stuff, Mustangs suck, Camaros rule, Domestics suck, German cars rule.

At least here we all love cars from ALL manufacturers. If it is a good car/truck, we like it, regardless of where it is made, or by who. This is why I hang out here even though I own 2 domestics :)

Actually he raced with us, but he never really hung out with us. It was a little weird, he would bring his car and his girlfreind (hottie BTW :)) and they just kind of stuck to themselves.

I doubt it. It's not like we're all best friends;just a bunch of racers that have a thing for cars/racing in common. Most of us only see each other at the track and I think for those 5-6 hours we are together we all get along fine and welcome other guys to join us.

Too bad smedley feels this way,I wish him good luck with his Focus club,all five of them. :p

LOL. I think he was just alienated because HAI was so big and primarily imports. Maybe one of you hit on his gf while he was racing or something and he got pissed off after she told him later that night in bed??

I don't think we alienate anyone. We are nice to everyone at the track. IF you are cool to us we are cool to you. If you want to talk to any \of us do so we aren't snobs to anyone simply because they drive a certain car. Now I say we go own the Street Import series again this year....:p

Is the street import series on Saturdays? If so that is the race I will have to attend since my new job :)

wow, so coming back from my brief inactivity...ok so it was a LONG time. Anyway I had (keyword there had) a focus that focused a little faster than 18's...I hit 15.325@89.29 in it. ofcourse that was a little less than I was hoping being turbocharged, but hey, I got to lay the smack down on some mustangs and such during last race season. I can't wait for this upcoming season...plan to make it to the track every friday, and to all the club clash events (as an HAI member:D ).

Anyway I've got a 01 Action Pack Celica GT-S now, but by april hoping to get myself into an mkiv TT supra.

BTW how much boost were you pushing with the foucs? Fastest time for a foucs I've seen up here.

the 15.325 was run on 6psi non-intercooled, and with the exhaust dropped. Best time in full street trim with the tiny 2" factory pipe at 5psi was 15.884@85.59

no I don't have the focus any longer. I grew tired of the problems it was having. after a while it just started developing sutpid rattles, and the rear brakes always had to fixed due to a faulty design...too many damn recalls.

it was a fun car, but it had some quality control issues. I agree though, with the exception of the mustang, and their trucks, fords vehicles don't really stand up to "quality is job 1"

absolutely no clue...should find out this season as it will finally be done!

having to do a total frame off rebuild on the thing. the deterioration in the rear of the car, and in some of the floor boards was just too great to overlook.

I'd like to see it go 12's, but you never know.
