Well just as I was hoping for the Stage 2 cams are just as identical as you can get with the Jun 3's :D I will be slaping my setup in hopefully here this summer time when I have another way of getting around while the car is getting built.

This mind you is on a gsr motor.

Now the only question I have is what c/r should I go for 11:1 vs 11:5? Pistion to Valve clearance becomes an issue and running on 91 octane.

11.5 all the way. Valves don't start to slap until you go over the 13:1 mark. My valve clearance was fine, and the head had been milled 2x. You won't have to worry about octane until about 12:1, but 11.5 should be fine. You should check out TODA SPEC B cams too at http://www.TODARACING.com/ I'm more of a firm believer in the Japanese cam makers opposed to the US cam makers-- they've been doing it for longer. I think I'm going to get "me" a set of TODA KILLER cams. I should be ready to roll at the September race.

Thanks, I took a look at the Toda packages but havn't seen any thing that stands out that would make me slap more money down for their cams/valvetrain.

I just want a nice daily driven vtec motor :) I was going to go with JUN 3's until these cams came out but this build up would be alot more easier on the cash flow.

Damn cash flow. I'm going to Cancun for this spring break, and it just ate up 1000 bucks. I'm trying to build the next motor, but it's been put on hold for a while. I'm not going to mess around w/ BS this time and random parts from the parts bin. Same LS block is going to be used w/ the CTR pistons rebalanced by Spoon Sports, but this type I'm going to use a ITR head w/ the Toda Killer valvetrian and Sports Injection kit. I'm going to build a race only motor to be swapped in for races only, and have the B18C1 that's stock (in the car right now) for daily driving.

Defintaly got to take vactions, that the next place I wanna go is Mexico. You should throw all that in a 5gen hatch since she will be a "race car" :)

So you think 12:1 is too much for 91? I've heard of people running on 12:1 but having problems.

Any hot cam likes compression. The higher you get away with the better.

I think with 12:1, JUN 3s, cam gears and good tuning 190 at the wheels would not be out of the question on a B16, 200 for a B18.
