Yay! I'm the 5,000th post in this section!!
Anywayz, my girl bought a new car, it's a 1995 Honda Civic DX Coupe. The Speedometer doesn't work, the person she bought it from said she replaced the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) and it didn't fix the problem, I need your advice. Thanks.

It needs to be diagnosed. Bring the car in I will tell you what it needs and how much it will be to fix it.

Thanks a bunch guys, oh an Pang you got any extra clusters laying around for that model? I'm looking for something hopefully in the area of 90K on the ODE. It's my girls car an she's wants it to stay stock as can be.

my did the same thing forever, i replaced the speed sensor twince and nothing.. the last time i got one i got it with the harness that attaches to the top plus like six inches of wire and it now works.

yea id say go for a new cluster. ill talk to boyd and see what hes got.

Thanks guys... Oh an there's an update, she said she got on the highway last night an it just started working all the sudden, worked all the way til she got like a mile from her hosue then she stopped at a gas station... Stopped working again all the sudden. So is it a short or somethin' ya think?
