i can i used to be a repair tech for 5 years on caraudio the hard part is matching parts since most manufacturers do whatever they can to hide the part numbers or use in house numbers for the components.

Yo prelude, if I send you a Directed 600d with a broken RCA how much will you charge to fix it for me?

depends, if its just a cold solder joint 20 bux. if there is pc board damage it might cost more. i usually do about 35 an hour with a 20.00 diagnosis fee that will be applied to the repair.

how about a alpine 7940 head unit where the display burned out? everything works. just that i don't know what station i'm on or which track i'm on. if it's cheap, i'll get it repaired. if not, time to shop for a new HU

oh boy, i had a feeling this might happen. look fellas, i would like to help but you have to work with me. i have very limited time because i run another business more than full time.
1 whats wrong with the amp excactly?
and 2 as for the display it could be as easy as a burned out backlight. might be fixable with a LED backlight. but i have to take it apart to figure out.
if all else fails i got a really good repair tech located in my building if i havnt got the time to fix myuself he is very reasonable.
call my office at 719-572-0900 and ask for Kevin

hehe, my bad kevin. i know your busy, so just throwing out some questions and also to add to my post count. i'll most likely either take it apart or just sell it cheap to someone who can fix it themself

I need an amp repaired too. I took it apart and it looks as if the coils are burnt out on it. If you want to take a look at it and get me an estimate that would be cool. I haven't used it in damn near a year so there's no rush on it.
