Here are the last words from the Prelude... It was much louder and more horrible sounding in real life (you may even call it "metal popcorn").

At least it wasn't combined with the sound of crashing into the curb...

Did you figure out exactly what did happen to it? I know you suspected the oil pump or something like that...

I suspect an oil issue, most likely the pump, but I still haven't pulled it apart... we just started it up to record the horrible noise it made, but the engine very quickly seized or jammed. It wont even turn over now. I'm fairly certain that the rod bearings are toast, and I expect to find damage to the crank and/or rods, so I don't think it will be a simple matter of replacing the bearings.

That sucks man. RIP or are you gonna attempt to rebuild it?
