Any suggestions for a hi-flow cat for a turbo GSR? I have a Rev-Hard stage 2. Any brand/cost/good power suggestions? Emissions legal would be a bonus. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Catco or Random Tech. Catcos are cheap but from what I understand you'll need someone to weld them into your system or weld flanges on it. I'm probably going to go with the random tech cat, although more expensive, because they make them accroding to the car you have, so it should just be a straight bolt-on.

Was it a bolt on? Emissions legal? Where'd you get it from? Otherwise, the Random Tech is the one I'm mainly looking at.

I had to have flanges welded on, but that's it.

It's CARB certified too.

Most of the guys over on the Forced Induction Integra board are using it. It flows real well.

why is that bad?????? NO car should have a cat. hollow the damn thing out, or install a test pipe untill it is due for an e-test.

Yeah, why is that a bad thing. I hollowed mine out. Gave me a couple tenths in the 1/4 and hasn't been a problem.

cause they are too damn expensive to be hollowing out, test pipe $40

  what???

once you hollow it out you are good for as long as you have that exhaust on. hollowed cats wont cause you to fail the e-test.

my point is that for $40 you can get a test pipe instaed of cleaning out a expensive honda cat.

Honda catalytic converters are $850+ and O2 sensors are $250+.........probably the 2 most expensive parts on a honda.

FUCK that! Get an aftermarket cat if you need a cat at all. Anywhere from $100 - $400.
