well since dima had to post his kill story, i thought i'd share mine as well. As i was driving home on wadsworth after dropping off my gf at her house, i saw a pair of bug eye's right behind me. Didn't think much of it until i reached the stop light at pomona, and saw the tear drops of the porsche headlights. Thinking of how odd my cabin wasn't lit up with the blueish hue of german HID's, i get out of the left lane due to my respect for the prancing horse and get into the middle lane.

As the pilot and co-pilot pull up along side of me, i notice the rims, the shape and think to myself " one of these days i'll have a p-car". The co-pilot, which looks like some barely teen girl, notices me looking at the car and says something to the driver, which is a big burly guy with his hair in a flat top, white and sprinkled with dashes of grey. He looks over at me, turns to the girl, and proceed to stare forward. I'm waiting for the light to turn green, when all of a sudden i hear the mid mounted boxer engine rev and the rpm's holding steady. It's apparent the driver wants to show the young girl what's up, so i'm thinking " what the hell, i want to see how my car compares to a p-car, even though i'll get smoked". The lights turn green, p-car drops the clutch, accord mashes the gas pedal, and p-car bogs. Accord get's out of first gear and is 1/4 car lengths in front of p-car. Auto tranny drops into 2nd gear, and i'm gassing it with all my might, p-car's owner doesn't know how to shift. As i approach red line at about 50mph, i shut it down about a cars length in front of the horsie, old man is disgruntle and flys by me.

Before he can put too much distance on me, the next light that somes up turns red. Again he revs that sucker up, and once again, car bogs. Before my car could even put half a car length and get out of 1st gear, he immediately turns left, and lets those expensive tires squeel.

Now this may not be as exciting as a harold, george or langston story, but for this automatic grocery getter with a guage cluster that won't illuminate, it was fun. Be it driver error, automatic consistancy or whatever, i'm aware of the fact that he's still driving home in a porsche, but i still was ahead. :)

nice kill :) haha, i didn't know you like to have fun also ;)

Alex, it's not bs. his Accord is a V6, and old i4 porsches (and it must have been one - without HIDs) are not rockets. so i would think it would have been an equal race even if that guy could shift
