I was thinking the last time that I had my car apart that I should clean the piping out. Anyone have any good ideas? some of the pipes are really long and rather hard to shove a rag through. Maybe I could take them off and get them "steamed" just a thought.

Hey, I see you're from Fort Collins too! Your CRX doesn't happen to be red with gold rims does it? Did you used to work at BestBuy? Just curious...not too many boosted CRX's around these parts.

Yes that would be me. I do still work for Best Buy, but I am on Military leave. I have been activated and am headed to Germany tomorrow.

Wow. I used to drool over your car everytime I went in that store! Good luck with Germany. If you need someone to drive her every once in a while, let me know **wink wink, nudge nudge*** ;)

Thanks for the compliments. Do you have any pics of your car? Maybe I have seen you around. She will actually be getting the new motor while I am gone, hope it will be done when I get back.

Yeah, there's a few on my website. It's got a ZC motor, CAI intake, exhaust, etc. WW Body kit, lowered 2 inches. Greddy turbo kit is in the mail. Should get here Monday, so that's the next project. Seeing that intercooler peering at me from your front grill really got me motivated for boost, I gotta say!

coat a rag in break parts cleaner, and shove it through with a long flexible coat hanger or something. tons of black shit will come out of there. then shove a clean rag through.

Rubbing alcohol works good too, in place of the parts cleaner.

just empty a few cans of carb cleaner or starting fluid in them. or better yet go to the car wash, soak the tubes in some degreaser and then blast away
