funny to think about it, but when I had an entire computer with touchscreen hooked up like that I never had any problems, and then I go back to a cd player and it all gets jacked wtf

it's not really an original idea, and he could have done it a lot better than that even without spending a lot of money

What a cheap fucker. Get an alarm. Somebody's gonna notice that he has a stereo system and even though there's not car stereo, there must be amps and speakers in the car somewhere.

i just rigged up a 12 gauge behind my deck, so when they pull it out it will blow their fucking head off! Fuck the deck at least I got even. :D

hahahaha thats the way to do it. my got ripped off so many times in my car that the area where the stereo goes is pretty much gone and no deck will fit in it so i had to hide it lower in the dash

Nope, my Kenwood Tv was just ganked not to long ago and simple, and i mean SIMPLE shit that is easy as fuck to unplug was ripped off. Plug gone! No cuts, well a few but shit was all just ripped out of my car. And its like, do you really think shit is going to work after that? After you pull something out with all your might. Stupid fucking theives! :fu: :fu:

one of my boys got sick and tired of getting his headunits jacked that he made some kind of bracket from the back of the headunit, that ran down to the chasis of the car .. soo basically his headunit is bolted down to his car and cant be pulled out .. from his idea I bolted down my system in the back to the chasis .. its a bitch and takes some thinking but it stops the stupid fucks from getting your shit .. that extra time it takes them to tug on it gives u PLENTY of time to be outside and behind them standing with a baseball bat :-)

If anyone ever catches a fool breaking into a car for whatever reason...If you can, detain him and tie him up. Then post on HAI so we can all come over and beat the livin' $hit outta him. I'm still bitter about my theft, and that was over 2 years ago.

when i had my old Civic i had modified the stock stereo. i hot glued the knobs onto it and even rigged up a LED light behind the face plate that would flash the anti theft light on the front of the factplate. it ran off of 2 AAA batteries. the face plate was machined so that it would cover the detachable face HU i had in the dash. i also had a remote mounted EQ faceplate that was held in place with 2 magnets so it could be easily removed and stored leaving a hole in the dash.
anyone walking past my car would notice there was a stock stereo with a blinking anti theft light and an alarm also installed.
everything in the trunk was totally stealth right down to the fiberglass sub enclosures that held 2 12" subs and the 18 disk changer under the floor of the trunk next to the spare tire. amps were totally hidden in the trunk as well. in fact the only thing you could see in the trunk was the 2 subs on either side of the trunk. no one would ever guess there was well over 8K in equipment in that car. never had any problems.

I call it get in to a house with a garage and a car alarm!!! Try not putting things in that are obvious or better yet.... stop showing off infront of your friends friends who don't care about you or your car and just are mad cuz you have it and they don't... atleast not yet!! In an install we did, we hooked up a set of relays and pin switches so it would fry the part when the pin made contact!! Also when we did the amps we took off the botom plexi and ran the connection right off the boards.... the car did get broken in to and they got away with 2k in paper weights!!!! I feel bad for the sucker who buys those!!

The moral of the story is if you are going to put a lot of money in to your car be careful of who you show and who you invite over!!

all you have to do is swap the red and black wires of your stereo when you install it at the plug that plugs into the stereo. when you wire it up you have to wire the red to ground and black to positive. when it gets stolen the theif wont know that and hook it up with the correct wireing and fry the stereo.

Don't feel to bad, last year some one broke into my car and stole the seats, ecu, shifter, external gauges, and heater control. yes the took every thing right out in front of my house while I was asleep. Here is the kicker, they left the stereo, they removed it and put it in the back. It wasn't that bad either it was a cass. with the 12 disk in the back and a remote. I guess they only wanted stuff for their car.
