sea level difference

hey tobi im down in Texas now and i've been running my car like normal and there is a GREAT difference in power. i love it. but there are some problems too and im not too sure how to adjust to fix them. one thing is when im full throttle in any gear it pops and snap a couple times from the exhaust and has a tiiiny studder right before it pull like crazy. it always happens RIGHT when VTEC engages. if im below vtec its fine if im already above VTEC and i put the throttle wide open it snaps and pops from the exhaust and studders and wont always pull out of it. sometimes it wont stop popping and studdering. what does it sound like the problem is. should i add more fuel or take some away? its definitely the elevation difference that is causing it because it never did this till i came down here. i want to make sure im not hurting my engine or turbo too much. thanks lemmi know

For the love of God get it to a dyno and tune it. Also get an ignition system. That is all.

tobi's advice is right on the money about the dyno. that's the best place to test
