Uranus...uh,I mean,Saturn issues

So,my brother's Saturn appears to have some rod knock and I was wondering is it fixable or is so expensive to fix it woiuld be cheaper to find a new motor? The Saturn dealer told my brother that since the labor for the fix is 26hrs;is this true or are they acting like a dealership? :ring:

For a full rebuild and installation into the car 26 isnt too far off. I highly doubt they are rebuilding it though, GM and Saturn usually sell you a shortblock or longblcok if they can help it. That way their warranty can hold up. It is probably cheaper to find a used longblock and slap it in.
