The only good thing about black rims is that you don't have to worry about that, and on a volks/audi that's a good thing. Not sure what the deal is with their pad material but it's bad. I had to clean the s4's wheels every couple days or they just turn black. Mainly the front of course, but still a pain in th ass.

What did I say that wasn't nice? I can read the things that you delete by the way.

And what's with people always capatilizing my name? I don't understand that.

There is not much we can say man. It looks like a nice, clean, mostly stock Vdub with some nice wheels. Good thing you've got a hatch though, you'll need it for all the poles and nets you use when you go fishing for compliments. ;)

That was going to be my next mod on my Integra to enhance the sleeper look of it. Then my new car had one, but it got taken away from me. :( I bet this guy surprises people all the time.

You should be wishing your car had a nice rack... so all your friends could put their poles there.

E36's have the same problem. My front wheels get so much brake dust. It's so freakin' annoying. Must be a german thing.

I like the car man. Hope to see you at some meets and its good to have another euro on the board.

I didn't know subi's had that problem too... it has to be a particular type of pad composition/material. Because when I had the eclipse it wasn't even in the same ballpark as far as thowing dust, neither is the accord. Both the beetle and the s4 were a monster PITA.

I found a product that I'm going to try. You put them behind the wheel and it prevents the brake dust from getting on the wheel. For only $33, it's worth trying.

Here is a pic of them.

but either are wheels covered in brake dust. Hopefully the wheel will hide them.

had a friend try those he wrapped the rotor2 in less then 2 weeks after butting them on and he does not drive hard at al.

you need the air flow to cool the rotors off this stops the air flow that is how they stay clean

O snap! Thanks for the tip. Good thing I didnt put them on. Looks like ill have to try different pads and see if it helps or just live with having to clean the wheels every week.

Well I don't really have any brake dust problem... that i know of... black hides it...

I have blue pagid pads and they stop on a dime. My rotors are cross drilled so that helps too.
I took off the skir rack a few days ago. I like it either way. They aren't vr6 rims theyre off an 03 turbo beetle. I know I'll catch some shit for that. However they are for sale if ayone wants them... 100 sound fair? the lug patter is 5 100. Thanks for the comments. And i did it without nets and poles too. YES!!! I won't be at the 4th bbq im going camping at sterling. Thanks for the heads up though.
