What's your budget? That would help us make some relevant suggestions.

Cheapest way is Nitrous but I hate refill that bottle every 2-3 day. A 10lb bottle w/75 shot nitrous only last about 2min30sec. Save some money and Go Turbo if I were you (free power). What's your budget? How much power are you looking for? Is this for daily driven or more racing? Low end power or more High end?

I think you have a d16Y7, there is no such thing as a b16y7. If you don't want to swap the motor, then either get a turbo kit for it or build your own. The first thing to do would be to buy a copy of "Maximum Boost" and read it, then you will know what questions to ask and people here will make fun of you less. You may also want to check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com/ for some ideas.

If you invest some extra money in engine management and tuning (no FMU or AFC, get a standalone ECU and some good injectors), then I think you should be able to run about 10-12 PSI on it and make over 200WHP for a while before you blow it up. In the time between turboing it and blowing it up, start saving for a B-series swap or a sleeved/built D-series if you want to stick with the D. Either should get you up to around 300HP with boost and good tuning.

When you get that setup complete, start saving for a sleeved/built B-series motor. Then when you blow up the 300HP setup, you can put in a >400HP turbo setup that will really move and will last a while before it blows up, giving you some time to save up major bucks for the next step.

At this point it should be a couple of years down the road if you've done everything right, and you should have saved up enough for a built/stroked B or K-series (depending on market rates a couple years from now) naturally aspirated setup because you are about tired of blowing up boosted Honda motors.

I don't know what comes after that as it's as far as I've gotten.
