Top shop headliners is doing a group buy on carbon fiber door inserts over on team-integra... We have to get 10 people in order for the price to be 105$ shipped for the pair.... This is a steal as the regular price is 220 shipped. Here is a picture of the inserts.. There are currently seven people on the group buy list including myself....

Gah, such rice.
Bleh I know... I hate to see my money go away on cosmetics but yeah... I love CF ;-)..
I gotta take my car to tobi for a timing belt and valve job so that's next on the list of expenses after that i'm getting a new exhaust mine is ok but it's crush bent and looks like shit... How much is it to get a custom exhaust made that is mand. bent insted of crushed... I can't find any local shops around here that will do it.. I was going to buy the Kteller piping and than a magnaflow muffler but I think it can be done cheaper.

I like, but I would spend the money on them. They are kind of pointless.

Turbos aren't rice... unless you get one that is horribly mismatched for your engine and needs, or is otherwise of little to no use. $100 CF interior pieces on the other hand, is rice... at least with the CF hoods, people could pretend that it was performance because of the very small weight savings.

98% of those hoods are just a fiberglass hood with an overlay.
you never know, those could be lighter than the cloth and foam? LOL.
when i still had my crx i had bought the CF fenders and the hood and i was having a true CF bumper made in kansas because i loved the lookks of it and they were lighter but not by much.

I too love the carbon fiber but I cannot afford the real shit so all I have is a hood which I might say is really good quality. But still not 100% carbon fiber.

Aren't REAL CF hoods almost double what a ViS hood would be?

The CF would look better if you didnt have those gay white pieces there.

For something that's gonna get beaten to shit by rocks on the road, I'll just stick with the stock hood and keep the extra couple pounds.

It is not just the pounds it is tha actual strength of it. If you are buying real carbonfiber then your ride most likely wouldnt be road driven.
