b16a2 in a 98 civic ex. using the boomslang obd2b to obd2a conversion harness so i can use the p2t ecu. throwing P0117 - Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Circuit Low Input... any ideas?

Is the harness plugged all the way into the sensor? Is the sensor good?

The harness is plugged in completely. I changed the sensor and same response. Voltage is fine. Everything reads correct at the cluster.

The cluster uses a different sensor than the engine. The ECT is the two wire sensor under teh distributor, the gauge sensor is the one wire sensor. You need to check the wiring from the ECT sensor to the ECU not the cluster.
