Well my VR-4 is down. I blew a turbo this past weekend  . I have decide that I am going to make it a project and modify it pretty heavly.. I have not decided which turbos to go with, its all still in planning but I plan on pulling my engine in a couple weeks and get started... When I know of what all i plan on running and estimated time i will let you guys know, but the way things look now, its going to be awhile before my baby is back on the street, I wish money did grow on trees.. Well talk to you all later.. Kevin

I know how you feel. I have a '92 Eagle Talon TSI, and I got to drive it for a whole 6 months before it shit on me. Just enought time to spend some of the leftover car money on mods. It has been sitting for 3 years, I'm just now getting it fixed.

Bummer, man :(

If you wanted it back on the street quickly I have 6 or 7 stock turbos sitting in my living room ;)

Feel lucky. My project manager melted the entire front half of his 3000GT VR-4 on the access road to work.

He had a LARGE amount of money into the engine....and was pushing 25+psi o' boost.

No, 25psi is not a lot to be pushing. Unless you have no idea what you're doing. But if you managed to set your car on fire with boost, that's a whole other ball park.

How the hell do you set your car on fire with boost? There are cars on stock internals running well over 25PSI, it is not a lot for an 8:1 motor with a good tune, supporting hardware and C16.

I like raining on others' parades :D

I probably won't be there, I have nothing worth running. A customer of mine probably will be, he's going for 12's as well in his TT converted FWD 3000GT. He put down 330HP at 13psi, though he has been having a bit of trouble shifting into 4th... and getting traction.
