knock sensor

Is it possible to use a 03 civic knock sensor on a bseries? The newer knock sensor has 3 wires instead of one, yellow black, yellow and red blue. Knock sensors are red-blue arent they? Can I just use the red blue and disregard the other 2 wires? thx

Nope, the new ones generate a different voltage pattern and use a kV reading. Your B series ECU will not be able to translate the new voltage readings into a usable knock code.
