qualifying for the heads up classes is on Saturday. Elims and bracket classes are on Sunday. You would probably be able to only run one class but it depends on what two classes you would want to run.

It has a hybrid T3T4 54trim turbo. The block and crank are stock fitted with JE pistons with Crower rods. Heads are ported and exhaust is smoothed out. The FMIC is a Griffen Core top to bottom. 118 leaded? Thats way over kill on the octane.

I run 110 octane, with my t04e 50 trim, which is rated as the same airflow as the eta-32.
28 psi, 27 degrees peak timing and 12.5:1 a/f. No knock.

Yes, it is $45 to run brackets for both days. Saturday is basically unlimited time trials. Sunday is one time trial and then eliminations.

If you show up sunday I believe the cost is still only $45. If you just want to run time trials saturday it should be a little cheaper than both days.

So how did everybody do?
I made it into the top 10 then got eliminated...
The people in the Staging lanes told all 10 of us that win or lose, we get a trophy. So I make my last run and got eliminated, picked up my slip and the lady at the time slip booth said to go to the tech area and get the my trophy.
I drive down there and there are 4 other guys waiting to get a trophy. The ass hat in the booth says "Sorry, no trophies this time". WTF? NHRA can kiss my ass...again.

I ended completely blowing my little ihi turbo...it was nice and strong at 14psi and handling the 40 shot of nawwws...
It went completely down hill from there. At the end of the day, I could barely get it to 8psi and it was blowing smoke like one of those WWII PT boats making smoke cover for the troops landing on Normandy beach.

I did manage to get a dyno run in. 193.7hp @ ~10psi. Not too bad for a little 1.6L...I'll have to see what it will do with my new Garrett T3/TO4e hybrid.

Integra b20vtec/LS tranny 50 shot nitrousfor now (100 shot direct port on the way) 13.1@103mph with it bogging off the line 2nd run redlight.
Civic GSR all motor with cams, bolt ons and a special header 13.6 oh and 24" slicks :(

Robie I was in the lanes when they made the error, their was a miscount. Because of it they thought there was one less round remaining than there really was.

They did it in both ET classes.

Yeah the drag strip sucks. There is a huge bump about the 1000 foot mark which makes for sme interesting driving tactics. Also the timing booth is right at the finish line so when you are done with a run you have to drive all the way to the finish line of the race then back around to the pits which is on the other side. Very poorly designed. But I guess thats what you get when you build a drag strip in a parking lot.

The spark plugs were gapped too small .03 instead of .3.. That's what happens when you rush at the last minute and cost me 75+ hp loss. With a dyno of 450 at the wheels I should have been in the mid 11's not 12's.

I had a frustrating and rewarding day. First the car made 170 whp and 165 wtq, not bad for my setup. But, I got one run in, and had a hose pop off so I cruised to a 17. I kept having wiring troubles kee[ing the car from starting and I'd get it fixed right at the end of the ET2 runs. Figures the car was fixed right after I missed first round of eliminations. Oh well, another day.

Rain owns the show scene here, and for the most part there arn't enough cars that are HIN material, I wouldn't even call me or my crews cars HIN material(Daily driven cars=not for HIN). As for a good show and "real drift action" DRIFT SHOWOFF June 26th PPIR, is all I have to say.

Yeah, sorry I just now saw this, but I wanted to say congrats to Dustin too. I just met you that day when I had to race you in the fourth round. I broke out even on the brakes at the end. Who would have thought the car would run faster after just completing a round. Oh well. Fun times and that was my fastest run ever on the brakes at the end too.

Honestly, I thought I had it too. I was shocked to see your win light come on, but even more shocked to see how fast a time I had ran on the brakes. Would have easily been a 12.7 or so I think. I raised the dial in thinking that coming right back to the lanes and the car hot that it would run slower, like most cars. But no, once again my logic defeats me. haha.
