The NHRA just sent me an email looking for a show car for the NHRA event June 11th & 12th. Here are the details:
looking for a trick show car to be part of the US Tobacco/Skoal booth at the Denver event. We are willing to pay $200 plus free entry into the car show. Know anyone? If so, send me a pic of the car. And they have to be 18 yrs old +

Is this for both 11th and 12th of June? Is it required to put any decals on my car? And would my car still be judged as a specific class like how it would normally be judged?

Here is what the NHRA said. If you are interested then I need pictures of the car to send the NHRA. You can either post them up here or email them to me at chris@clubrsx.com
The car would be needed in the Skoal booth both Saturday and Sunday. No decals and you can enter in any class you want in the car show.

what about an 02 sunfire, i know it isnt an import but it has been riced out....i am pushing so hard right now to have it ready for the show on the 11th and i think i might make it...if you might be interested lemme know, it is fully kitted by aerogear, lambo doors, 18in tenzo's, slammed, custom supra taillights, and i am working on the interior as we speak, the bodywork should be done tomorrow evening ready to paint this weekend, it will be dark blue and silver, oh also we done a usdm kinda like jdm swap on the ugly ass headlights, there are now 96 grand am headlights instead of the crap headlights, it also sports a momo steering wheel...if u might be interested call me or email me.........james

To me it doesn't matter. What I need is pictures and then the NHRA and Skoal pick what they want. Right now it is going to be the Supra since those are the only pics that I have and it is a nice looking car.

Only if it is still running open header and you sit in it and rev all day. Also, the VAFC still has to be hanging down. :)

Supra's Are all the same around here. I mean pop your hood single upgrade and some polish. I bet if I poped all 18 supra hoods they would all be the same shit. That in my mind is played out. Supras been dyno queens since early 90's this is 15 years later. Do something different. Supras, you seen one you seen them all.

Its so very tempting, but none of us would probobly do it since the car would have to be seperated from the rest of the team. Both Ellens car and that supra would be great for it though!
