I live in Denver and I am wondering if anyone knows if there is any good racing spots around here. I usually go to I-25 and Alameda but, the cops are real assholes and are always stoping the races when they start getting good. :ring: Does anyone know any good racing spots around Commerce City. Last time I went I saw many cool imports crusing around there but, never follow them to see where they raced. 'burnout:

'burnout:there's a nice stretech of road on bowles. from wads to santa fe, heading east bound, nothing but nice straight flat roads. we also hit up east bound 6th ave, right after indiana ave all the way to i-25, really good drive.;) but we usually togue from golden up to central city. nothing better passing up those slow ass buses and cadillacs

Don't tell him to go up to Central City, my parents and I (as well as half the people who posted in this thread) go up there a lot, and I don't want some fucking retard killing me and my family (or my friends) in a head on collision. There is NO WHERE to pass on the way up there.

Actually there are lots of places to pass. Going towards Blackhawk there are two dedicated passing lanes, and a shoulder for slow moving vehicles.

There are also several spots where you can pass traffic by going into the opposite lane. Single dotted line.

And 4130, you're an idiot. The best place to race is up and down my two driveways, within range of my shotgun.

I know that there are two places with two lanes, and several places with a dotted line, but have you ever actually tried to pass anyone on the way there or back? There is almost always a line of cars coming the other way. I went up there with Jess once, and even with the turbo on (plenty of power to pass whoever I wanted) I passed ONE guy, and it was so close I still felt like an asshole.

On the other hand, if you take the new 4 lane highway they built off of I-70 (the exit before Idaho Springs) there are never cars on that and you plenty of room to pass, but I hear that cops regularly patrol it.

LOL. You know when you're driving up there Stu, and you see the one guy going 20 mph with a LONG line of cars behind him, but no one in front of him? I always inevitably get stuck behind that person. I end up passing cars almost every time I go.

Maybe it's just the times I go, its possible traffic is lighter than when you go.

Unfortunately, majority of the people going up there are too stupid to read the sign and still hog up the left lane.

I'm assuming it's a police station or an impound lot?

Arapahoe County Municipal Court building, sheriff's office, everything necessary to take care of 4130 in one handy location. And I'll bet there is a nice big parking lot to do burnouts in.

Don't be mad because I have more fun in the streets than you have ever had in your entire life. :fu:

dude, this is not fun. it is, but then you pay for this fun. I know it's hard to understand, but this fun is much more expencive than 30 bucks per day at the track.

You poor child, I was street racing before you were born, and I doubt you'd survive the fun I've had or the places I've had it in.

This fun you speak of is irrational, dangerous, and I'd be willing to bet $50 that you couldn't drive to save your life if it came down to split-second reaction time where your choice results in life or death... either for you or another person you endanger with your "fun".

Take it to the track.
