Well if you are eligable I would reccomend a credit union. I am a member of Jeffco Schools Credit Union, and I was eligiable because my dad taught there

I think as long as you have any affiliation with Jeffco Schools you are eligiable. I went to Green Mountain, and my dad teaches in Jefferson county so either of those worked. So I think you can attend, or attended school in Jeffco, or just be related to someone who works in Jeffco schools. If they take referals from other members I would be more than happy to help you out.

Also they offer competitive rates, NO fees, and you can transfer money, and get all of your questions answered through their website at www.jeffcoschoolscu.org

You've got nothing to lose if they do, just try them out, and look somewhere else if they turn you down.

No idea. I know that I had an account get closed on me over at Safeway Credit Union, and that didnt prevent me from getting a Jeffco account.

Credit Unions are generally more lienent than banks on a lot of that stuff... when my parents had a bankruptcy on their credit they were really nervous about applying for a car loan, but our credit union didn't even blink.

Yes, but credit unions are more restrictive as to who they let join... which is why they can be less restrictive to their members.
