Apparently George was on his way home and was stuck behind traffic. A silver WRX w/ a front-end that looked like an STi came up right on his ass from a ways back. It was obvious the WRX was up for some play time but the traffic was abundant enough to not make it an option. Out of coencidence a caution truck was in the fast line forcing all the other traffic to move over in which case George and the Silver WRX did. George was not sure if the car was a WRX or an STi, but it was a wingless Suby none-the-less. As the traffic passed the cuaution truck, the fast lane was left WIDE OPEN so George immediately jumped in that lane with the WRX right behind. George then decided to stomp the gas in 3rd around 4k rpms. The WRX started to fall behind easily and George wasn't paying attention and bounced off the rev limiter and then shifted into 4th. And continued pushing up in speed. By the time 4th gear ran out around 110mph bouncing off the rev limiter the WRX was a ways back in George's rear view mirror. This couldn't of been an STi as George thought, and after giving a thumbs up to the driver and getting one back, George could not see any STi badging anywhere. George and the WRX exited on the same road and spoke briefly at a stoplight. The WRX was chipped and otherwise stock w/ some aesthetic mods. Looked very clean and defnately a nice car w/ some very nice wheels. The WRX looked to be very new in terms of age as it had the same lamp design and looks overall to the STi, just w/out the noticeable wing.

Was a very nice fun run on the highway and although George couldn't say really what kinda car lenghts were put on, the WRX starting right in Geroge rear view mirror with the headlights barely viewable and by the time the run was over the car was definately a ways back. Which would of extended had 5th and 6th been able to of been used. Overall though, the car did great and was an interesting comparison. Definately slower than an STi, but fixable w/ appropriate mods.

George should look for the gold brembo brakes on an STI.

BTW, Harold made a comment to me about how slow Langston's car was compared to his own. But given the $7k price difference as well as insurance rates, they have their trade-offs.

The other day, Langston drove in Harold's STi while Harols drove Langston blue WRX - it was a fun drive according to both Langston and Harold but holy shiz Langston felt like brakes were non-existant after driving Harold's brembo-equipped STi.

I became confused for a sec... is George generally capable of serving an ass of a stock STI on a tray?
