ok so im drving home this evening when i get caught at this stop light. i see this new eclipse, lowered on bling with a gaudy body kit and a two tier wing, along with a ricer sounding exhaust, it takes off turning left onto the street im on. i gun it off the line to get up behind him so i can use him as radar cover(he would take the first hit off of any radar gun, so if i hang back a little bit i figure i can speed right along with him:) ) anyways i get up next to him, because he slowed down.
i click on the performance shift on my moms 92 pontiac bonneville 3.6 SSE and let her rip. he hears me and decides he wants a piece of me. he guns it and slowly starts falling back. i take it up to 100mph and then decide to back off, mainly because he starts to fall back a little bit faster. he does a flyby, and wont line up again, giving it gas everytime i get remotely close to him.
so there it is, 4000+lbs of 3.6 liter supercharged grandpa mobile can hang with (and dare i say "beat") all the riced out new eclipses out there. bring it on.
