So my 2YO son, Owen, is running down the hall towards me holding a big plastic Corvette, I'm sitting on the couch, checking e-mail. He trips on the mat by the door, does a face plant on the Corvette, jumps up, and starts screaming with a big bloody lip, top lip, right in the middle. So I grab some tissues and wipe the blood off. My wife comes in and gets him a popsicle to suck on to make his lip feel better. She asks how it happened, so my 4YO daughter Emma says "I'll show you", and grabs the Corvette, walks down the hall with it, runs back towards us with it, trips on the mat by the door, does a face plant on the Corvette, jumps up screaming with a big bloody lip, top lip, right in the middle. We lost it, fell out laughing, telling her to come over so we can get her cleaned up while laughing uncontrollably. Poor girl, she probably thinks we find her pain and fear hilarious, but it was too funny. At least she got a popsicle out of it, I know she was pissed when Owen got one and she didn't.
