i think that is kid of intresting that you guys meet there and we have never seen you. we go that way to go to blackcivicturbo's house every night in the valley. only thing that i have ever seen there is a riced out mexican's hatchback with rimcaps

Newt2 and I don't hang out there much past October but all last summer we hung out there,we were almost always up there. I had the burgundy ACS Eclipse and don't tell me you didn't see a yellow Type R up there at Kmart. My car has been out of commission since October so I haven't been up there in a while but now I'm back with more ponies. We will be up there tomorrow so look for us.
BTW I don't have the ACS down the side anymore just a red Mitsu diamond star on the side.

When we actually do race down by C4 it's usually a real race and for $$$. Most people won't get into races when you mention cash and I don't like to thrash my clutch for free and I don't pick races with something that will rape me. Particularly a Hennessey 650 Viper w/n02 that hangs out up there too on occasion. I know what my car is capable of.

No,it belongs to Newt2 and his name is Patrick and as far as I know his R is the only SC'd one in this south area,there's probably only a few in the state.

I can't believe you haven't seen his R and my Eclipse,we've been hanging out there for the last 3 years at least 2-3 Fridays a month through the summer. When did you guys start cruising up there? I know most of the fast cars up there and I don't recall anybody talking about any turboed Civics.
So what's the scoop on your cars? Mods? 1/4 mile times?
Or are you gonna be secretive till we race? ;)

Right now I'm limited to 16psi till I swap in my bigger fuel pump and injectors and then I'm planning for 20psi on race gas.:cool:

we have been going up there off and on for a while. you should race our team's gsx when it gets its wheels back on. ill put money on it. i know most people wont race when you say cash but i think that separates some people. yeh is the kid with the type R rich?

No were both part of the "old" guys on this board. Newt2 has a good job doing tech support,obviously to be able to afford the R then add 5k in to it within a year of buying it and another 2k this year. (EMS,clutch,fly wheel and a 8psi pulley are on the way)

Both Pat and i have been racing imports for over 6 years,he's mostly an autocrosser and I'm the drag racer.

What turbo is you buddy running in his DSM? I'd love it if another DSM showed up,it's like Hondaville up there. (no offense :D hehe)

i know about the crx and the supra. they are really big pussies i went to school with the crx and when it comes to racing he will race and he is slow so slow i beat him with i was stock. as for the non turbo supra all he has is a kit and he thinks his shit is fast. but it dose look nice i will give him that much.

When the weather is nice we meet out at the Good Times on Wadsworth. Sometimes we get ran out of there by the cops, usually because some kids started a fight or were drinking, but the car guys usually get blamed for it.

If we're not there, we're most likely over at Soundtrack at Bowles and Wads.

We don't do a whole lot of racing, we mostly just hang out and talk cars, girls, whatever... We all race at the track so everyone pretty much know what we can and can't beat. A new car is kind of a rare treat, then we head down to Wads south of C470 for a few races.

PS you musty live pretty close to me and V8SPANKR, we're at Kipling and C470.

It depends really. If We went to Bandimere that night we're not out there until 11:00 or later, if it's cold out, we're not there at all, otherwise after 9:30.

During the summer there are big crowds of cars out there, quite a few of them rice, but quite a few not too. I've seen upwards of 60 cars and over 100 people milling around the parking lot, that usually doesn't last too long before the cops show up though.

If it's nice out and we're not at Good Times, we're over at Sound Track because the cops already ran us out of Good Times. We're usually in the area until after midnight, sometimes till 3 or 4 AM.

We race as a team under the HAI banner. It's all bracket racing. You can collect points for each round you advance and compete 3 ways.
1. 5 man team is 5 predertmined racers chosen before the 1st round.
2.Individual
3. As a whole club.

I think last year we finished 7th out of 40 clubs and Steve 2000SIVTEC finished in the top 15 as our top racer within the club.:cool:

But your boosting and turbos can be the replacement for displacement.
I have a 2 liter (122ci) and that same SS (350ci) can't touch me in the 1/4 so engine size doesn't matter.

On the bright side is that your Civic weighs almost 700lbs lighter than the SS so get some more ponies and you probably could give him a run. I know Brian,with 10psi on his JRSC can run with an LS1 at the strip.

If you can afford 10 grand for the turbo, build up and fuel upgrades, go turbo.

If you can only afford 6 or 7 grand you can go Jackson racing and avoid the engine build up.

Otherwise stay NA.

FI always costs at least twice what you think it will.
